Score the Date Using Great Expectations Dallas

June 8th, 2009

Look, I’m not that desperately eligible dude, traditionally satisfied by sitting at home missing the fun every weekend. I’d bet you have never heard me post on great dating and relationships. Not a fan of the drama.

Datelessness is an unfortunate trait and totally absent from my man programming (man-gramming?). However, Here’s the situation, I had no choice but to put the breaks on a 3-year fling which meant a lot for us but essentially deadended for both of us. I guess one might go on record saying it may have been years since I was dating. I don’t hold the great expectations for dating I held years ago.

Living free and single isn’t bad. It’s a given that I won’t sit tight, peacefully binging on Lost on DVD. The biggest cause of this spell of weekend dating lameness? The people I know are settling down, and there are fewer available women.

My accomplished football pal, Tim, who has never had dating loneliness, informed me he’s now in the same boat. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. Not usually my thing, but I enjoy introductions with new chicas with similar interests. Go figure, I decided to make a change and signed up.

Keep it real, there ain’t room to complain due to not having plans when you haven’t called anyone. As my old football coach Jason Smith carried on grinning, “You’ll never win a race you don’t run, shooter.”

So he was divorced 4 times. Even so, Coach was a source of truth in a good old fashioned way. He meant well to everyone. This crazy series of Dallas singles events I just went to could have done a number on the gipper’s mind.

At yesterday’s Great Expectations dating events I mingled with a ton of accomplished and desirable singles that catch my expectations. I truthfully had a good time with dozens of indisputably noteworthy people. I ducked out of the mixer a little early following a promising exchange of numbers, in addition to the fact that I grew some social networking relationships for my job. Success.

Get out there. You won’t win if you don’t. Listen to me and you might as well have great expectations for dating.

Respectfully,

Larry D.

Internet Singles Dating - First Date Tips for Men

May 29th, 2009

In today’s cyberspace - there are many other articles written about online singles dating tips for men and women. Below are many measures to assist you on your 1st date.

Step 1:

You shouldn’t act only to impress her. You need to be yourself! You’re going to lose her interest if she has to center on your act or attitude. Try to pretend that she is just a acquaintance and you aren’t trying to win her over, and maybe you’ll be comfortable enough to more easily be yourself.

Step 2:

Remember! First impressions definitely count. Make sure she doesn’t think you will be a boring partner. You shouldn’t talk to much - and try to balance the conversation. Don’t just say yes or no to her questions, but you also don’t want to tell your biography either. If you simply talk about yourself, then you will sound extremely conceited and tedious!

Step Three -

You need to look confident on your first singles date. You need to make her feel like you are intelligent and intriguing. When you speak, you need to sound capable, but not vain. Don’t make her not like you before she starts to know you! You don’t wish to make your first date, your last date!

For my last tip - you need to have fun with dating online! If you can, just try and forget your nerves and imagine she already knows you. Pretend like your not even on a date - but rather, simply hanging out with your friend. Hopefully your first date will be a memorable one.

death

December 17th, 2008

Come here come here, Let me be lain into your arms, I am a strong maid and nothing can scare, There is nothing I am afraid of, I want to fly up, Higher and higher in the sky, Can you tell me what happens? When someone goes without telling a reason, From this world for ever, Let my soul be departed. For a moment to see some realities, I am closing my eyes to see the miracle, I want to travel in all over the world, In a freedom like a bird, By using these magical words. Oh death, oh death, oh death, Covering myself with black fur, With a mane made of cursing pearls, Let me be a part of those, Sleeping in silence under six feet, They do not talk they don’t meet, A place where is only an entrance but no exit, Only a fog near a tree in obscure night, No passage for a single piece of light, We can feel the darkness but can’t breathe, Let me be under that “six feet” Oh death oh death, Send me that angel, Who can make me sleep? In a lap of separate world, Different from that world. Where I live, Don’t loose you grip over me, You are my destiny, You are an end, I can’t have an escape, Even if I try to run, How can I deny? I know you won’t let me down, So don’t waste more time, Take me with you and let me fly. Higher in the sky, Oh heath, oh death.
